if you're just getting an exhaust and intake system mod don't even bother getting a tune. only worry about something like that when you make internal changes to the engine, aka, putting in a fairly decent sized cam, or redoing your fuel system.

but yeah, get all your mods done first and then get it tuned, that way you won't get it tuned to what you have at a certain point, and then add more stuff to it so it changes your setup, kinda making your tune redundant.

your kidding right? An exhaust and intake give's you the bulk of the extra power the BA gets. The stock cams are decent and the tune will unlock torque limiters and adjust your A/F ratio to further improve what your intake/exhaust is doing.

Yeah, 190rwkw is about right. The XR6T in particular seems to have a fairly wide variance from the factory for some reason however..

has anyone got quoted on a full pedders sports ryder suspension pakage, and with all the mods, exhaust + flash tune + cam. with all this done

would the cost be less than a XR6?

i had my suspension done private, kings springs for 210bucks a pair, but am looking at the other mods now and at present these are my best
air box mods $150
exhaust turbo ready $4200 standard $3200
CAPA flash chip tuned to car $990

And because the brakes on these things are so awful a brake overhaul inc: pads rotars and brake lines $1500

Well, kens stock xt - 141.5kw at the treads.
my stock ef gli 117.7 at the treads same dyno same day.
These cars must vary their power so much guys, because (I initially bought the ef off ken) when i bought the ef, it was quicker then the ba was... by about 3 car lengths at the time - auto as well (stock, dual fuel, KandN filter)
kens was stock, nothing done, woolies s**t fuel.
not that way now with the manual, bout even off the line, yet to go to willowbank for a proper run.

flash tunes are well worth it, as they should improve your fuel economy due to the engine management not running the computer RICHer than richy rich at wide open throttle etc. should make the car more drivable with more usable power.
