A 5 speed manual BA XT.......now that would HAVE to be some sort of bang for your buck weapon, if you could find one...

I reckon your gunna have trouble finding one full stop. Try searching for one on the net, trading post or the paper.

Good luck though. I hope you find what you want.

What do you drive now?

i was under the impression that only the early BA XT V8's could come in manual, other than that you had to get an XR6, Turbo or 8 to get a manual?

The auto tranny on an XT is a cost option.

i wanted a manual when i bought my ba xt in january 2005. The guy at the ford dealership said that they only keep autos in stock and i would have to pay for extra to build me one in manual . . . my dad told them to shove it. i walked past one at the airport once, god i wanted it. i really wish i had a manual xt with and lsd . . . *drools*

oh well i suppose thats why i have the bf xr6 turbo ute though . . . LOL.

Not as fast, faster.. probably not as fun in the twisties but the tiptronic function is good.

How did you come to this conclusion? (just interested :) )

I would have thought that the manual would have had the edge, especially off the line...

Also, the Ford dealer that told that bloke that a manual will cost MORE. What a load of s**t!!!

It's the auto that is the cost option, not the other way around....
