exhaust, cam, intake would be a start.

Extractors will be about $500. Depends the brand and the place u go.

If you shop u can get extractors (pacemakers), high flow cat and a 2.5inch catback for 1k.

Look into cams. I couldnt tell u a cam because i know s**t for EF/EL.

Intake - get a typhoon intake. FTGAS will have them.

You could also lower it. Expect to pay about $130 a pair of springs.

ask smilie, he has 178rwkw with :

typhoon box/intake
extractors/hiflow cat/2.5 redback

after that you WILL need an lsd to get that to the ground as he found out on drag day.

yeh, pretty much what rushed said, also a K&N panel filter.

And, yeh, 3.23 gears suck with a single spinner so get that changed.

Then an ECU flash, will see you into the 14's after that.

Mine has extractors exhaust cai and an edit and does 185rwkw and mid 14 quarter miles.. cams for them are very expensive though.

Be careful running out and buying a cam for this car.. why??, look at the figures that the 17X rwkw cars are getting, they are still only as fast as a bog stock BA S 5 speed manual (which was 15.1).
If you do a cam, you will then need to replace your tourque converter to make anything of it.

I too have all the usual mods.. If I was to do it again the order would be..
- Stereo first (you have no RCA outputs, have to convert tje rear
speaker outs using an Alpine rca converter ($50) to feed the amps.
- Nice wheels if you dont allready have em.
- High flow cat converter (either a 2.5 or 3 in magnaflow METAL cat)
-2.5 in high flow exhaust (berklee make a very well priced unit) and
then rip out the rear muffler and replace with a hot dog.
- Typhoon intake (either from ford new or off ebay if you are game)
- CAPA box with a good generic tune (not the capa generic tune but one
from BPT or similar).
- Any money left.. do the extractors.

You will end up with a car with at least 170 rwkw that can still run with great fuel economy, and sound quite nice as well.

If you want to thro around more money, you can get an aftermarket inlet manifold and cams, a high stall tourque converter and a retune (you have just spent another 5 grand at least).. There is at least one BA with all these mods and it runs high 13's.

Good luck

supercharger

Definately, but $10,500 or thereabout installed and running??

I guess by the time you add up everything else, it would be the go.. and to get over 300 fwkw (and more with an intercooler) on the BA XT would be UNBELEIVABLE.

one powerball..
