Hey everyone. Having some problems with my EF. Every now and then when i go to start it on LPG it will backfire and blow the little pipe off the map sensor, and then will not start. Ive heard this was common with the EF's as they used the coil pack system and there was the wasted spark issue.

Under the dashboard, Ive located the Lambda control box and next to it is a Petrol Start Control Module. Problem is its definetely not starting on petrol. Most of the times im changing it over to petrol and starting it and then switching it over, does anyone have any ideas as to why its not starting on petrol. By the looks of the black boxes its a Parnell system.
