At 3.30am this morning – the horn on my car started going off – wah – wah – wah
Like a horn based alarm – but I didn’t think I actually had one.
It's a BA Mk2 XR6

The noise it made was like it does when the panic button on the remote is pressed.

Anyway – went out there – no-one around – no sign of tampering or anything – and the remote wouldn’t work.

So the car is going off – waking up the whole street – then I thought – use the car key you knob!
So I opened the car with the key - started it up and the beeping stopped. Turned it off locked it up with the remote – all good.

Dropped kids off at school – filled up petrol – dropped car at train station. No dramas.
So not a flat battery methinks...

Weird huh?

Anybody else had this happen? Any ideas of possible cause?
