like others have said, the fines are huge, its not worth it at all.
And you will more than likely reduce your power by doing so. the exhaust gasses will have a big open chamber that will create turbulance and disrupt the flow.

mate dont be stupid , not worth a $10 thousand doller fine, i wouldnt do it . go a high flow cat if u wont.

not worth it, my car came with gutted vcat, now has high flow. if you want your exhaust louder put less restrictive mufflers in or reduce the amount of mufflers.

just gut your cat n weld some 2 1.2 in. pipe inside!! or spend a couple o hundred on a hi-flow cat

2 1/2" hi flows are less than 200 bucks now, compared to a posiable 10g fine, it's definately owrht the hi flow! |

Please dont bash your cat out. Thats for holdens, and being a responsible ford driver you might take the oppertunity to fit a hi flow cat or drive around with a broken one until you can save the cash.
