Hey i have a ED Futura sitting in my drive way and i am servicing it my self to get a RWC and it hasnt been for a drive in 2 weeks and the battery is flat. I have to move it out side sometimes so i have to jump start it but i cant keep doing this. I saw a 2.4W solar battery charger for $25 at supercheap

my mother thinks it might be a bit cheap do you guys think it is worth it... I just need to keep some power in the battery to get the car started so im wondering if this could do it

It'll 'help' but its main objective is not to be a 'charger'

It prevents a 'good' battery from discharging when not in use, or when connected to a low consumption device (car radio memory, clock etc)

At the end of the day, if its got a one way circuit, it'll help no matter what.

They're a maintainer not a charger, if what your after is to maintain a good charged battery while its not in use, then that is what you want.

Hi,

Have a look at a " Battery fighter " at Supercheap. I have used these for years, and they keep the battery fully charged without over charging. Car starts easily and the battery will last much longer. There could also be another issue draining the battery, last one I found was a brake light switch.
