yeh but getting all the electrics to work would be the hard part. if i did it, i'd adapt things like the ba door actuators into the ed doors, use the ba cluster, steering wheel, etc etc.

Basically its be easier probably to just remove all the BA body panelling and put ED body panels on it.

But yes it is totally possible to do the conversion if you have ALOT of money. And if you had that much money you may aswell just buy a BA XT and put the turbo motor in that. Would most likely work out cheaper and also be a sleeper.

You sell the interior you might get 1500 perhaps wheels 300-400 for the ones that arent stuffed you might get the irs sell that too for 500-600 and any panels you might make 500-600 so look at it this way 1500+350+550+550= 7000-2950 == 4050 you just got yourself a Ba xr6 turbo motor and box for 4g cheap really figure it out quick motor and new technology perfect starter really

cheaper to turbo the original motor or buy a xr6t.

No ifs no buts unless money is no object and u have too much time on your hands .

Why are you guys saying the install is going to be massively expensive?

A) the motor doesnt fit will not clear bonnet and will not clear k frame, they will need to be modified. and good luck getting it engineered.

B) you will need a very flashy Aftermarket computer to run it all, its doable for sure but its not cheap.

As far as I can tell the k-frame mods required are no different to that of the AU conversion. And as for the bonnet, thats hardely going to be expensive or difficult

And you dont need a flashy ecu to do it. JetXR did his with a wolf

And as far as it being hard to engineer, why? You dont touch any structural part of the car.
