I'm sure these will seem to be stupid questions, but how do you get the pulley off the front of the motor? and do I really have to remove the intake manafold to get to the dizzy cap? I have yet to buy a service manual but need to replace my belt soon as it's not in great shape and since I'll be buying car stuff I figured I'd replace the dizzy cap and rotor while I'm at it.
Thanks again guys.

Where do I find the tensioner? (BTW I did mean belt not pulley, brain fade) And where is the other clip? I assume I need to take all of the leads off the dizzy to see it, yeah?

To get to the dissy cap, first remove the airbox. This will give you plenty of room to reach down to the dissy and remove the cap.

Beautiful, I got the cap off (thanks madmax), and now I've gotta muster the money to replace it all (unfortunately, replacing the leads requires the intake manafold to come off, damn it!). I just need to know how to get the belt off, I assume the idler pulley at the top is the tensioner but I don't exactly know how to release the tension.
Thanks.

First put all the leads on the dizzy cap and cable tie the 2 heat plastic shields over the 6leads . 3 leads per heat plastic wrap.
Now put a draw wire down between the 5th and 6th plenium pipe gap and tape up all the leads and pull them up. easy peasy.............

Thanks. In the front of the tensioner pulley (bottom one) there is a square hole. Insert a breaker bar with a 3/8 square drive into this hole then swing the bar Clockwise. If you want you can lock it in the released position with a 5mm drill bit in a small hole near the centre of the tensioner assembly, or just hold while removing the belt from the PS pump.

Fair enough, thanks for that. I feel kinda stupid now coz I didn't think about attaching string to pull 'em through. Oh well.
