Hey guys my EL 6cyl Fairmont seems to have a fixed belt tensioner, where is belt tension adjusted please? Trying to change water pump.

to the left of the aircon unit & no it's not a 'fixed' as you can put the part of the ratchet that goes into the socket in part of it so you can take off some tension [ had a look on the EL motor here, but not sure on size ie 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch or 1/8 inch]. i normally pull on the belt [on my BA] where it goes from the top idler to the alt & slide it off the top idler.
