just get wade to grind you one up, cheap and easy, if you get a cam for a manual vehicle and yours is auto it should be nice and lumpy!

looking at an alted profirmance stage 3 but dit sounds a bit weird when it reve almost like a lancer lol |

contqact wade, but not much more than 100 bucks plus your old cam, need the shims though but there not exy or hard.

um as far as i know RPD stg3 is as big as you can go. (well before major engine modification is necessary) its lumpy as, pulls like a 13yr old school boy and the price is very good..

ok that does it satge 3 rpd and some minor head work
at a look at exaust system its 2.5" system from extractor it goe sinto cat (i presume thast what it is) a bit before my diff. would this be right i thought cats were more of swolen round item noyt oval like mufflar |

she'll have an interesting not with a stg3 and a diff dumper.. should be plenty loud lol. id advise you to make it easy to attach a tail pipe,, ie flanged or something...

Ive got an RPD stage 3 in mine, and I would defiantely stand by it.. and if you think it sounds like a lancer, well, lets just say Lancers run away from fright. definately lumpy, and definately pulls, and nothing bigger on the market.
Since your car is a manual (like mine), you will see a HUGE improvement.... Cheers

As far as Im concerned stage 3 is the biggest without modifying the bottom end. As for my car, its still been built.... but you will see. Cheers

As far as bigger cams, there are many but they are not advertised widely, I guess because cam grinders dont want people who dont understand what all the numbers mean to buy them. The crow 539 for example - 610 thou lift, 247 duration @ 50 on 106 LSA. They also grind the 546 'race cam' up to 650 thou lift. IMO its tack times and mph that count, not big cam specs or tough exhaust sounds. The only time I have seen from a 'stage 3' wasnt that impressive (let me know if there are more as I would like to know).

need specs on teh stage 3. stockstandard u seem very up to spee don teh topic how would u say it compare sto your 1521a.
yea times count, but so does soudn to me i know that sound clip on the webste could be from almost any I6 and i don't know what its exaust ha don it or even losse sform recording it. but it does resssamble a smaller engine at higher revs. are there any solid cams for the i6? or maybe im just to fussy oh why did i have to sell my xc coupe |

1521a isnt a huge cam. I picked it because it still has ok bottom end and good midrange which is important as the car is my daily driver. It sounded like this at idle, although it is a fair bit smoother now with the MS2 - http://users.on.net/~jasiunas/mark/CT.mp3
Its not anywhere near the biggest cam out there, but IMO its a good compromise that suits my needs. And yes should have kept the coupe!
