ive been doing some research and asking people on the forum etc. and have heard a lot of mixed opinions.

i want to know what the best sounding and good flow exhaust set up is for the bf xr6 mkII?

im currently thinking of 2 set ups being:
twin 2.25" and replace rear muffler with twin resonators
or 2.5" pipe, split at the diff and hotdog at each end.

could i please get opinions on these or other setups that may work better and be more cost effective?

cheers,
Jova

yeah ive spoken to him. his the one that suggested the twin 2.25" cat-back replacing the rear muffler with twin resonators. which seems like a good idea and sure does sound good but does it give u enough flow if u decide to put proper headers on?

Thats the same spec as a BA typhoon exhaust. I had this on my BA and it was good.

kk thanks. also im still learning my stuff lol but could u explain to me the point of the twin resonators instead of just chopping the muffler off and have a straight exhaust?

So it doesnt drone... if you drop the muffler, it will drone.. ever under light load.

the video is of the same exhaust and setup with no other mods. would just a cat-back actually sound that good?
