just as an aside.. with anyone out there approaching middle age lol. Remember when Genie were the bee knee's? Well without going into details i dealt with Genie internally many years ago and two major designers left genie and formed Pacemaker.. But anyway take that as you will.

Dude...there are 6 pages in this thread outlining why you don't EVER need back pressure or need to mention it again. Yes you will get back pressure and yes it will make your car slower.

What is the problem and what are you trying to do? If you want torque at low rpm get a set of headers to suit, if you want torque at higher rpm get a set of headers to suit. You can't have both as they are designed to be most efficient at certain RPM. IN SAYING THIS any aftermarket manifold should be better than the stock tractor manifold (assuming B series is similar to E/A series?) at 90% of the rpm range due to its ridiculously s**t design.

most people that post about zorsts are after a grunty sound, considering putting on a slick set of pipes isnt going to transform your car into a 10 second streeter.
in my opinion its a complete well thought out system and not just any one component, anything after the muffler is s**t.
Now companies are putting thought into their designs all the time but i personally believe the better ones are HM followed by pacemaker, pacemaker looking a little prettier in the finish, most of the rest are much for muchness.
what Skidder is saying is pretty much on the money.. if you want a set of pipes and are not after elapsed times just go to the wreckers and pick up a set second hand.

I'll only use pacemaker because of their pipe-over-cone joins for smooth gas flow. Anything else seems retarded.

it varies from car to car, dyno to dyno. but anywhere from 125-135 is a reasonable figure
