Ride: AU II Fairmont 6

Location: Ballarat
VIC, Australia

I'm looking at buying another another motor to put in my au as my engine is getting old in the tooth and I have plans to turbo/supercharge it in the future, would I be better off with a dedicated gas 6 or standard 6 to begin with? And what things should I look at doing to the engine before fitting? Eg under $1000 total (gaskets etc), with bolt ons already done, suspension, brakes, 3.45 diff gears fitted, will also be going manual, in preparation for boost what mods would I look at doing , $5000 limit without including turbo/supercharger kit

when talking AU motors, the GAS motor is not any different.

just get a series 2 or 3 AU motor of any description.

You won't build anything other then a stock engine with $1000.

Put a DOHC in it.

Much better overall results are possible, with PLENTY of boosted performance options.

Cheers
