hey everone, ive read alot about panel vs pod and whats better. i got a pod filter and just wanna fit it in the air box but whats the best way and pic if possible....thanks

You will starve a pod filter of air, that flows more than 520CFM by putting it into the standard ford airbox. It will basically perform worse than a K&N panel filter..

ok, didn't use the air filter idea (was a s**t cheap one had lying around), was gonna get a K&N panel but instead got a FRAM airhog panel for $60. there exactly the same. Gotta say better throttle response and if u don't wanna spend over $100 for a K&N, go a FRAM.

they are made exactly the same as the K&N oiled n all. very happy with response and price. just waiting to get bigger snorkel.

one thing i learned about pods, especially the cheap ones is the glue they use and how the cheap brands let it run down from the seals clogging up most of the pod...

Check it out for yourselves, You get what you pay for.

Ive had the same cheap a** pod for about 2 years lol its fine. its probably about 50-60,000km old lol time for a replacement.
