just finished completing my project, the ed with all the bf driveline and dash. Ive finally installed the correct 6 speed auto, modules and wiring to suit. But unfortunately its still stuck in limp mode, our ids scans show a range performance Error and thats about the only clue we have to solving the problem, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions it would help alot.
Otherwise I will be going for the 6 speed manual option.
So if there is any intrest in my zf auto its up for sale for 1000 its had a full service and a steel sump installed and has done 60000 ks. I would also be keen for a swap with a manual box.
Any help would be much appreciated

there's a heap of sensors and internal checks in the ZF mechatronics unit. It also needs a feed of various engine parameters from the ECU via the CAN bus.

got a Pxxxx code to help further diagnose the actual error.
