My mates just bought a bf euro lpg sedan.He asked me if it would be beneficial to put on wide mouth ss induction and exhaust mods.2.5 inch system,hi-flow cat,extractors etc.I dont know anything about lpg cars so i thought someone on fordmods might know.Also if these mods were done would the car run rough until the computer got used these mods.thanks

Should be fine. The computer might need a few kms to figure itself out but I wouldn't think it would run rough.

LPG will more than likely need to be returned for the snorkel. LPG can be sensitive to changes in the air intake system.
Aside from that things that increase power on petrol cars, such as extractors and exhausts will also benifit a motor running on LPG. |

probably depends on which extractors (as to how far they go out) and the placement of the LPG converter in those models... Yes, changing the air intake can cause the car to stall at idle and that. They tend to still drive fine, but when you stop at traffic lights and that they stall. Or so i've found... |

BF's (petrol or gas) are very particular about o2 sensor readings, if the distance between the exhaust outlet on the head and the o2 sensor is altered it will cause the engine light to come on (its all about EuroIII Emissions we now have in force), likewise a smaller cat will cause a "catalyst efficiency" error as the pcm watches the upstream and downstream cat to determine if the cat is working correctly.
Of the 20+ BF's ive seen fitted with extractors, only 2 have not had engine light issues. |

so its not good to put a performance exhaust setup on a bf falcon then?
