Hi
I have a 2011 ford falcon BF
it has started making a really bad knocking noise
The noise is worse when it's cold but still there when it warms up
It was making a little bit of a ticking noise
Now it's started making a really bad knocking noise
I have posted the video here
https://youtube.com/shorts/ukvyDUkiZks? ... RrScN0JA73

I am really worried.... I read somewhere jt could be bent rod?
I have lubricated the tensioner pulley as ppl had suggested
Without my car I lose my job and I am worried it's going to die any minute

Any help is really appreciates

you have more of a chance here - http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?p=6888875#post6888875 of getting an answer to your question. with my BA i did have a [what i thought] bearing/knocking/grinding noise .. that turned out to be the gearbox[which was replaced]. this may/may not be your issue. best get it checked out before it craps itself.

A knocking sound from your car's engine isn't always indicative of a serious problem; it could be as simple as low-quality fuel. Most cars have a knock sensor that detects engine knocks and alerts the ECU to correct the issue. Thus, a knocking noise could be caused by a faulty knock sensor. basketball stars

Sounds like a broken timing chain guide rubbing on the chain , take the rocker cover off and look down the front with a torch ,its not a bearing or a rod the nose is too fast ,it sounds exactly the same as my sons xr6 turbo when the chain guide broke fell down and was rubbing on the chain ,we just did a timing chain kit and all good again ,good luck
