I might be heading down to FTG tomorrow to pick up the BF typhoon intake. Comes with upper and lower(headlight snorkel) and lower air-box. The bloke on the phone says it will just clamp staright into my 6 easily. its $175 and I know it won't be so great until I get the K&N filter put in but what do you all think, should I go ahead with it? I'm so bored with stock and I wanna make a start.

thats not too bad for a genuine one, but for that sort of money, you could get a custom one made which would be more effective.

well, I rang ford and they quoted $190.65 so I guess $25 off is decent, I might just go ahead and get it, but not till tomorrow so hopefully i'll get a few more opinions before I get it.

Cheers all.

If you get the lower airbox bit, it already has hole in there.
