hi all,
jsut wondering if anyone on here who has changed their intake pipe for an after market product or made their own what they did with that little 90degree rubber hose that comes off the intake pipe right before the throttle body onto the top of the engine. what is it for? and what did you do with your new pipe with it? |

Take a look there. Might help you get some ideas.

that little rubber 90o pipe sounds like the PVC flowback, pretty much it pipes hot engine fumes back into intake, very very very very slightly attacks performance, on a turbo cause cause blowby, and is better to pipe it to a catch can then back to intake. for N/A its not worth it, some people put breathers on it (like a mini pod filter), however if cause venting the fumes into atmosphere your up for a huge fine, i dont know if its true but ive heard can be up to 30k mark.
