Hello all,
Got some questions which I cant seem to get answered. Is it possible to do performance modifications on factory dedicated LPG 06 BF XR6 Ute? If so, who would be the best person to consult in Sydney? I have been looking around popular ford mod websites but no one states anything about dedicated LPG engine modifications. Is it simple as what ever works on petrol XR6, will work on my LPG XR6? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shane |

So your engine has a green rocker cover and no injectors????.....go the usual route, extractors, CAI....that sort of thing.

Under the LPG convertor, are there 2 of 10mm brass plugs????.....if so, when you change the engine oil, take the plugs out, some stinky oil will come out. This will help keep good idle quality.

add in a typhoon 2nd intake into the lower airox lid.. 3 mandrel bend to the throttle body.. extractors.. high flow cat.. 2.5 inch cat back exhaust.. under drive pulley.. K&N panel filter..

Do they know how to work on LPG?
Biggest problem i am having is that most mechanics iv been talking too can not work on LPG vehicles and or do the old "I know what i am doing but i'm not certified" spruik. |

They have been installing quite a few liquid gas direcet injection systems lately.. big $$$ but must know something.. lol |
