I have recently put a pod in, with no heat sheild or box, till i mod the air box and snorkle. I replaced my ignition leads with high performance leads and new plugs gapped at 1mm. The car now bogs down on petrol but not gas. Have I gapped the plugs wrong? or is it the hot air being sucked in the pod as it only does it at low speeds or take offs?

Re gapped the plugs at 0.9mm and put the old filter and air box back in. It has stopped the problem.
