I understand the theory of these braided hoses but can you actualy notice any difference in brake performance. how much does a standard rubber brake hose actualy flex/expand anyway. i dont mean to knock but is it worth it or is it just a cosmetic thing, they sure do look great.

well simple theory, why would race cars use braided and not rubber if it didnt flex that much under heat/pressure? :P

We run Braided lines on the dragster.

I can say for sure that braided lines can and do swell/expand under pressure.

That said, they should withstand a higher pressure than standard rubber hoses. And therefore require less pedal travel than rubber lines.

With these lines I have found the brake pedal doesn't need to be pushed as far..
So you need to adjust brake switch to opperate earlier..From those who went to Singleton will know my brake lights warn't working...
Well they do but only if I stand on them!!!
That hardly happens with 4 pot A.P callipers...

theres alot of things that are rice. neon lights are rice, milo tin exhausts are rice, shiney hub caps are rice.

But bradied brake lines are not RICE.
