My EB (no ABS) has crap brakes compared to
my mates EF.
The brakes on my car are in good working order, I believe,
as they have new-ish pads all round and have passed
roadworthy for 2 years without work.
I figure it was just an upgrade that the EF got.....

as you use the brakes more do they get any better or is it just the first few times you use the brakes?

i have bendix ultimates in the concorde, the first few corners i just about have to stand on the brakes until they are warm, then they stop on a dime.

the pads were bedded in properly, i did the thing where you drive at 60kph then lightly brake untill nearly a dead stop but avoiding a complete stop do this say six times, avoid hard braking for a hundred km's or so, all brands of pads have a running in procedure in or on the box anyways.
