hi
its pretty straight forward except for the extra wires to run to the ecu ect are you going to use a el ecu?? but dont forget to change the water pipe from the water pump and water neck + heater hoses aswell as the eb ones will hit the bbm.. oh and rocker cover as the ef/el one has the mounting point for the throttle cable.. and your better off changing the throttle pedal aswell..due to different lever ratio. the eb one will work but your pedal will sit high.. other than that its all pretty much bolt on.. remember that the eb timing mark is different to the ef.. its no biggy you just need to re-mark the balancer or change the timing cover... |

hi troyman i'm using my ecu (ea manual )as far as the wiring go i'm extending the one's for throtle and idle sensors and will use a jaycar switch for the flaps in the bbm.
when you say water neck are talking about the one under the thermostat housing ? . i have the main water pipe the one from the pump and heater hoses and for the timing i though it would'nt change seeing i'm not touching the ignition side of things. please correct me if i'm wrong |

ok i understand now ,i'll have to pick up the complete thermo houseing as well , don't have that on the wrecked el . i'm mainly doing the coversion for a LPG setup hoping to get a gas throtlebody for it which the gas conversion will be done in about 3 weeks
