Hey everyone, I've been offered a BA dedicated gas, replacement auto at 120-160,000kms. It's the wagon with maaany miles under its belt.
Before I purchase this i will get the racv inspection to check for problems but I thought I would check the fordmods collective mind on whether this would be one to avoid or pursue. While looking over it was low on oil, so i offered to top it up (needed roughly 2L! I hear they have 6.5L capacity so this isn't such a big problem - assuming it's not seen lower! Anyways its $1100 (with a bicycle!). Only needs a new windscreen, front bar and a headlight. Just as a cheap work rig that will lock up. I'd rather ride the motorbike unless it's hailing. Cheers, Matt.

get the RACV inspection & go from there as it may help you either negotiate a better price or avoid a problem car. interior would need to be in very good condition i think for that price?. k's is not high.
i bought a 2006 BF wagooon dedicated LPG but only paid 500, wanted 600. needs gearbox replaced [which i have] and a couple small things done. it's done something like 750,000 & had the motor replaced [not quite sure why]. does go very well tho with the foot down. |
