any body used a crs bellhousing to put a c4 behind a 4.0 ohc engine or is ther any other brands that will do this,i have a c4 from my clevo that is a little weak for my motor, its currently on loan doing a tour of duty in my mates xb, when i get it back was thinking about ditching the manual in the ea for an auto..... can you use the clevo converter? is there an adapter plate instead of a whole bellhousing? any info would be good thanks.

also intrested to know this, there is one place that makes a bellhousing but its made the same length as an e series one meaning custom made convertor is required,i got an ea borgwarner 40 bellhousing im gonna fit to my c10 to put in my xr6,then i can use a c series convertor

have you considered making one out of a 4 speed auto bellhousing ? have you sat the converters side by side ? i reckon the clevo one would be too large. maybe a 6 cyl C4 one ?

Dellow Automotive would do a bell housing to suit.

has any body used the dellow bellhousing? some of there stuff is rubbish! i thought about the borgy bell housing it has a bit of meat on it to so could be modded to suit...yeah the standard diameter converter would never fit...i would get an 8 inch converter for it could use mine but its 5200 behind the clevo so the 4.0 would just be in stall forever....
