hi all
i am still working on the right cam for my job in my ef, i am looking now at a WADE 1673 coz i would like to keep the torque and gain thru the range but i see more ppl sway to the 977B i want a good power gain out of my cam but my car gets used for all sorts towing, long trips and tearing around the streets on a friday nights so it needs to be a good alrounder and to run on gas. can anyone give me some good points as to why i should use the 1673 or not or maybe a better cam that might suit my needs better thanx STADIC |

I have a 1673 , imo it's a good cam, it's a mix grind of the 1636 and 977b. It pulls right across the rev range, it makes it's power around 1500- 4500 rpm,
I've never had a 977b but I think it would be similar to a 1673, I think you'd be be pleased with a 1673. Imo it would suit what your after

i have the cam (1673), a shiftkit with the solenoid trick also, ba xr6t intake, k&n filter, sports exhaust.
ive never had it on the dyno so i dont know how many rwk's its making but it beats my mates au fairmont which is stock, so before i got the cam he smashed me but now i beat him easliy,
