the au runs a different rocker setup to the el so the cams arnt interchangable, unless yours is a later el with the hybrid motor. As far as specs go im not sure on teh differences

Found some cam specs:
STD EB ADV Duration-241/239, Lift .470/.454
STD EF ADV Duration-264/260, Lift .470/.454
XR6 EF ADV Duration-264/260, Lift .470/.454
The STD EF cam is bigger in terms of duration but has the same valve lift.
The only differences between the STD EF cam and the XR6 cam are the valve timings.
STD EF
Inlet opens 16BTDC, closes 68ABDC
Exhaust opens 62BBDC, closes 18ATDC
XR6 EF
Inlet opens 14BTDC, closes 70ABDC
Exhaust opens 58BBDC, closes 22ATDC
So if you look at these specs you can see that the Xr6 Cam is retarded by 2 degrees over the STD cam, with the exhaust profile retarded a further 2 degrees. Because of this, the overlap increases from 34 to 36 degrees, and the lobe seperation angle has been tightened up from 114 to 113.
Perhas this cam was designed to take advantage of the better flowing exhaust port of the XR heads..?

hmm no, this is why cam specs are sooo decieving. The XR spec cam looks the same on paper, however its the area under curve of the lobe that changes which is where the XR made its power, even though the specs "LQQK" the same.
