Hey guys..

Just wondering if there is any difference between a standard EA 3.9 cam gear.. and the cam gear in an ED XR6?

i've go an ED XR6 cam to go into my 3.9.. along with some other head work.. gettting it ready for turbo set up.. but wanted to do something in the mean time to give it a little more go...

the reason i ask.. is coz my mate is gunna try making an adjustable cam gear for me.. but asked if the XR6 and standard cam gears are the same or not..

Thanks

xr and the standard cam gear are the same

wouldnt it be easier to buy an adjustable cam gear. They are not that expensive.

Good on him for giving it a shot, but they are like $95 - and if he stuff it up you WILL need a new engine.

Due to timing failure. Not one valve was spared.
