I'm very ready to help. I've done mine 4 times now and could probably do it blind folded. And I have a torque wrench. unfortunately, i don't have a place to do it. Definately willing to help out but.

TEDs is beer flavoured water, pick a different beer.

Ok awesome. It's gonna be at my place... but not this weekend.
Heaps of people are in.. we'll make sure everyone brings a different type of beer so we can all have something we like ;)
I have a pool table as well when we're finished.. plus there's like 8 pubs within 2km.
Maybe we should make an events thread?

As soon as everyone has their cams I'll organise a date/time :)

As for beer.. I only have 1 esky... so bring your own eskies too.. and ice!

I'm also going to organise a mass mail-back of our existing cams to RPD so we can save on postage. Let me know who's interested in doing that.

Sounds good. Where abouts do you live? Sunday would be best for me as I work on saturdays.

How many cams are we talking about here? and also, what cams? Will some ecus need to be chipped?

AdamN....depending on the cam, it might be useful to restrict your ICV. I found this to help a lot as the ECU would freak out on mine and I had rising revs at idle.

I can tell/show you how to do this if this is the case.

Oh, and for ease of re-installing......Everyone shold by the lifter retainers from coventrys as this will make re-installing the lifters a much easier task.

However, it isn't nessessary. I've done it both ways, but with is a lot less tedious.

make sure you all have the necessary tools as well! (as many as you can provide) - no point only having one or 2 toolkits if you're trying to do 6+ cams :?
