kmac camber kits are best for the falcons in my opinon
we could get some nexen 235/40 R18s for about 110+ (i work at bridgestone) but we dont really sell anything but bridgestone and firestone, just ring around and see who do the best deal.. or have a look at tempy tyres

I've got a Kmac kit in my falcon, and it's pretty good.
As for tyres, cheapest can mean a few things. I don't look for cheap tyres, i look for good value, such as a tyre that has decent treadwear & grip ratings, in comparison to it's price. It's worth paying a bit more for a tyre that will either last longer or perform better. Cheers ToranaGuy

there is only one way to find out the tread wear, you can guess how its goin to wear or how long it will last but you wont know untill the tires are basicly gone,
no tires are goin to last for ever, basicly you get what you pay for. just watch the presures.. and stay clear of falken, dunlop and gt radials, they tend to crack in the sidewalls

I've had some Falken's on my Torana with no trouble with the sidewall. Hrmmmm...
As for tyre wear, there is usually an item printed on teh sidewall of tyres somewhere, it will read " Treadwear XXX ", XXX being a 3 digit number. If you google that or search on the forums here, you should be able to understand what it means. BUT, at the end of the day, if you don't run propper pressure as noted, don't balance your tyres as needed & run poor alignment settings, they won't last. Simple. Cheers ToranaGuy

38psi isnt too high, its better to run a higher psi in low profile tyres so that your not butchering the sidewall.

Right, so you want to be replacing tyres every few thousand Kms, because the middle of the tyre is totaly f**k while trying to save ur sidewalls? Mine sits anywhere between 32 - 35 and my sidewalls are fine, and my tyre wear is perfectly even.

i pump my tyres up to ~42psi.
thats 17's with superlows and no camber kit and after 20,000 km my wear is even.
