Can anyone tell me a bit about the different cams for sale? mainly who makes them, price, expected improvement (rwkw, engine life etc.) fuel economy?

Im starting to look in to eninge gear and stuff.

you have wade, surecam, JMM, RPD, crow, Kelford, and probably more.

Prices range from around $120 for a wade regrind, to around $400 for billets from wade, crow and surecam, upto around $500 for a regrind from JMM

As for power - mild cams will give around 10rwkw upto around 50rwkw for big cams (need other mods to help them).

Fuel ecomony will inprove for small cams but will be worse for bigger.

There are heaps of threads about the different profiles - your best bet is to search.
