From the Wade cams I've received, they don't stamp or engrave anything to say it's been reground (or it's a particular grind). Short of having another stock cam to compare it with, I don't know how you'll tell by just looking at it.

wade cams usually engrave the spec number on the end of the cam, however i have had two cams i bought from them without markings so its possible you wont know what your buying if thats the case

Mine had it punched/engraved on the end, however its the only wade cam I've dealt with, so who knows?

Grab a vernier gauge and compare the differences in the cam lobes. If it's a stock cam the guys trying to palm off, you'll see it with the measurements. I can't suggest anyting else unless someone on here has a 1636 to give you some measurements.
