sorry if someone has posted this answer before , a simple question i cant find the answer to . i have searched but not found the answer , Do tickford cams have identification marks and if , what do they mean?

The cams have a cast in number on them that starts with a number, ie: '94', then a pair of letters, ie: 'DA'.....with a Tickford cam, they grind the 'A' off it and stamp it with a 'T', and some red paint done around it too where the 'T' is.
'94' is just a year design thing, in this case, it's for an EF XR6. Tickford parts have a few different prefex's... like DT, TVE, and the like.
