can i put a ef xr6 ecu and a 3.45 lsd in my car
and not have to change the speedo gear?
if not how much will it cost to get a speedo gear put in?
and how much is a ef xr 6 auto speedo gear?

its a ef gli auto

you have to change the gear

its only a few bucks from ford IIRC?

u will want the BALCK gear and takes about 5-10 mins to change

its actually the grey gear for the 3.45, black was the one i pulled out of my 3.08 diff

it actually depends if you have 15 0r 16 inch wheels so you are both right at the moment

I went for ze black gear with 3.45 and 225/50R16's.
Of course now I've got 17's, the grey gear would have matched better, but meh :P

do you still have to change it going from 3.08 to 3.45 LSD if you keep 15" on cos i was under the impression u didnt ???? cheers

sorry i meant 16" wheels, b/c the difference in wheel rotation was pretty much cancelled out by the increase in diameter ???? :?
