i was chatting to my dad about a capa supercharger kit, (a 290Kw-300Kw upgrade kit) and he was going on about no that cant be for the N/A 6, it must be for the turbo, but i was thinking wouldnt it be stupid having a supercharger and a turbo, anybody know, if its even possible, i just wanna prove my dad wrong, and learn something.

well how much is the kit.
i would think that i would be for a n/a, because why would they change to supercharger when they could just up the turbo ;)
and do you think he will actually get the superchager?

i really dont know, coz the upgrade kit was $990, and superchargers were starting at $1,000, and he liked the sound of that. And he was saying about installing the supercharger plus keeping the turbo which made me think he was an on crack.

Yeah of course it's for the N/A if it says supercharger.
BUT, I'm thinkning CAPA made a f**k and they 'meant' turbocharger if the price is only like a grand. 240kW - 300kW for $1K sounds about right.

How about you call them if you're interested? I'd be opting to up the turbo kit, so many different products out there for them which means more competition and better prices.

my dad only owns the n/a six not the turbo, and voxace they said superchargers starting from $1,490 i didnt wanna get all technical and crap, so it was just for the basic supercharger.

it almost be better selling the xr6 and buying a xr6 turbo if u want the power, for the extra u get, eg turbo set up engine, lsd, ect and then buy the stage 2 kit for it, and have around 330kw or so. be the best option

what a memory that was, the thing was such a huge 4wd the front wheels were close to leaving the road!   :!: :!:

you cant judge a book by its cover (or some s**t like that) i have a supercharged nissan patrol (140 rwkw) and not much will keep up with it of the lights. but it has a limited top speed of course . gets a bit scary up there with the 35" tyres
