sorted out why it aint turning over. the drive plate bolts that hold the torque converter in place hit the starter motor. can you get a spce or a coversion kit for it as it was manual but ive got an auto box

im not sure check with ford,are the cranks the same-man\auto,is the flex plate on backwards and is the starter the right one,flex plate bolts are low head bolts not normal bolts.
