A Milo tin welded on (hole punched in middle of course) looks pretty f**k tough and can't be called rice cause it's a F**k Aussie icon! :D

I considered the twin tip too but then it just ends up looking like a factory xr8. I wanted something a bit different. Looks good anyway - my friend did not like the look of it before it was installed but once on he thought it really suited the car.

Yeah i think the way that im going with mine will make it look very clean and it wont stand out like others as its just a straight cut tip.

Will look nice as its angled too which means it doesnt look too chunky or ne thing, perfect for that EF rear bumper. :)

I will post pics of it on Thurs if i can get it organised by then. :)

Yeah well the old muffler was well and truly f**ed lol, it sounds alot more agressive and its louder to but the main concern was to get rid of the baffle it had.

Driving the XR on gas now feels alot better too, obviously its flowing alot better now which has incresed engine response quite noticeably. :)

Was money well invested :)

Basically what i stated in my first post, AU XR Tickford Cat converter, with a full 2.5' mandrel bent pipe into the Lukey race muffler thats it. Then exhuast tip will be done soonish this week.

Its nothing over the top, but i pretty much saved a s**t of $$$ buying secondhand (it was all in good nic too) thats why i went and got it all.

No offence to people who have the system but i reckon it sounds better than most full lukey bolt on systems with that turbo muffler. :)

But yeah if my camera had sound with video mode i could have posted up an audio link etc.. Oh well.

I got the full lukey system with 2 mufflers, hiflow cat and lukey extractors. Sounds fairly quiet with two mufflers but that how i wanted it. The muffler placed recommended dumping one of the mufflers.

Hmm if it were me i would have just the one muffler, i mean the system i have now doesnt drone either. At low revs it has a nice deep burble until you put your foot down, then at about 2800-3200rpm she sounds pretty nice. :)

I know the feeling, its nice. When I had my Lukeys (one muffler and one resonator) installed, I was driving for 2 weeks with my radio off. Car just sounded very sweet. Not too loud, but sounds very strong when you give it a go. I also opted for an oval tip (pic in gallery), just a suggestion.

Ahh its a good feeling when at 12pm you can fang it around town with no cop problems :) LOL just finished work and i decided to let the XR sing a bit more.

F**k hell on LPG my car sounds fkn cool!! Thats all i can say to describe it!!!

I was driving around on petty during the day and well the real test was to see how much better it was driving on LP gas...

Well it feels real strong now, real strong, feels like its actually got some top end performance now on LPG its crazy.

Im not exadurating either, it really has made a hell of a difference. :P

As for tip reason im going for the VS SS bombadore lookalike tip is because it looks alot cleaner/neater and more streetable. I mean its not flashy and it doesnt grab your attension but it still looks sweet! :) Well thats the idea ne way.

Hi all, just picked up the new exhaust tip today, picture of it is in my gallery check it out.

Its a nice lookin tip, and it may not look like it but its angled too, so when it get welded on it wont stick out. It will look very neat and tidy but tought at the same time

However its not getting welded on thier until Monday morning!!! Damn i wanted to drive to adelaide on friday and show it off too, oh well cant have everything

LOL i know how that is believe me! You already know of my long list!
Im just stoked thou because my car now feels like it drives (well faster) than it did when i first got it, obviously the new exhaust steped it up a notch. :)

Its funny thou in actual fact my car mabe a bit stronger now, but its stupid coz its actually running pretty rough lol. Once i have done the full tune up on her (which will hopefully get done soon) i think that i mabe lookin at a pretty quick six!

I think once i have done all that i might just get it dyno'd again ne way... oooh might be heading near that 130rwkw goal soon. Ha ha might..
