Nice job. Reckon your family knows why after I cleaned my ics my idle went to 1100 and revsits self from 900 to1200 idleing.
And where the F**k is the idle adjuster. Sorryfor hyjacking your thread. |

no probs, iv changed the starter, will try it in a few hours,
87silude is your throttle body clean? if so try ajusting the base idle, if you look straite down on the throttle body from above you will see a little screw and tab, make small ajustments, and put it in drive and see how idles, good luck! |

Thanks man. Cleaned my throttle body up nice and adjustedit all the way out. Small screw with a spring on it. And it still idles at1000rpm and when it goes down to about 800 it sounds like its gonna stall then jumps back up. Whatsup with it. Bahh

dam! check the intake manifold bolts there known for getting loose and causing poor idle quality?

Yea man.
I tightened up the inlet manifold. It was slightly loose. But it still idles high. I figured out when I tap the throttle and it rides up if I put my foot under the peddle and lift up it drops the revs. So the throttle is sticky. But even if I keep it up it dosnt go below 900rpm. ?????? |

hmmm, id check for air leaks? get crc or similar and spray it around hoses ect, and if the revs rise theres a leak, other wise im out of idears

Mmm. I dunno what csc is but I shall pull all my hoses off tomorro and check them for splits.

well batterys flat dead this morning! time to burn i think
 87silude crc a lubracant, or degreaser just spray it around areas that could have leaks, other than that im out of idears |

Thanks mate. Its pising down rain so I couldn't check the hoses. But ill let you know if it is them.
