hi guys
had problem with car of late.
after 'thrashing' the car (by thrash i mean foot flat n 3 - 4000 rpm) car will surge (like bad clutch control / rocks back and forth) next time i go to take off.
problem started a few months back and has been getting worse. have had clutch, all belts n pumps and sparkies replaced. None of this has seemed to fix it.
not sure if it is timing, TB getting crap through it, bad leads etc.
thanks for you time :)

it doesn't really sound like a bad lead, that would pretty much be consistent and normally mid rev range not on takeoff.

its not only just on take off. can strike anywhere.
only stops with time and when i have no acc. on.

info bout car might help
280 000 (have no idea if it has been rebuilt or not)
as stated above everything has been replaced cept the leads n coil pack
oil has been in it bout 4 - 5000.
its annoying because i have no idea what it is and can not get it fixed. all the mechanics i have talked to dont know what it is and it WILL NOT do it if they are in the car. :(

i am thinking that its a fuel problem, maybe fuel filter blocking or the fuel regulator
