ok fella.

my 95 series 1 fairmont surges now an again.
used to only do it on the highway. but now everytime i go for a drive it does it. also idle goes up an down a little sometimes. im wondering could it be the coilpack bout to die? and if so how much for a new one? ford item or aftermarket one?

umm, leads i dont know. they look fine to me, only had the car 14ish months. so i might try that. did plugs a while back maybe 7000km ago.

just running standard ford filter.

im thinking voids is on the money as it only does it now an again. the idle i think is a result of that.

do you fit your insulation covers (plastic ribbed conduit tubing) over your leads? i got two on mine, not sure if they help much but the cabbie mechanics fit em.
