howdy just wondered what is the law about replacing the analogue dash in to an electronic one. because the odometer will have different readings how do we change the dash with the new odometer so it will comply with the law. if we change the odometer do we have to record it in the car book and a mechanic sign it
(this question is seperate and just of interest) are we allowed to replace the odometer if the old one's broken or do we leave the broken one there. i look foward to your reply. |

Not sure on the laws but I know it is illegal to sell a car with a different cluster without letting the new owner know (I would asume if it is replaced due to damage, it would have to be recorded somewhere and disclosed to the new owner).
