I was driving around last night, and everything seemed fine, except it sounded like it was struggling to crank over each time I started the car, getting worse with every start. Eventually it wouldn't crank over at all. Now if I try to crank it over it won't make a noise or anything.

Tried to jumpstart the car but it didn't help, when I flick the keys to 'on' it turns over fine and doesn't sound like it's struggling, i can hear the usual clicking noises, so I don't think it would be the battery.

What could it be, mates reckon it could be the starter motor?

Any help would be appreciated.
