mate i had the same problem with dads commodore and it turned out the starter motor had s**t its self

i gave the bcm a thump nd it started pretty much straight away thanks for all ur help ppl

I had similar problem today...but something was wrong with the ignition switch. The key would sort of turn, but it didn't feel right and the ignition lights on the dash didn't come on when they normally do. Called NRMA and when he pulled the plastic covers off the steering column, and the back of the ignition switch fell off.
Anyone else had this issue of know how to fix??? Can you replace the back connector on the switch, or do you have to replace the whole barrel??? |
