Smartlock is a security system, there isn'y supposed to be an easy way around it.

Is the smartlock light on the dasg 'acting' as normal. Or is it flashing when you try to start the car.

If so, and the BEM won't relearn the key. You have to turn the key to on, wait 30 mins (60 in an EL) and when the door locks cycle (lock unlock) you have 30 secs to start the car (turn key to start). If you miss it you have to start again.

If its smatlock prob due to faulty bored in the BCM same as I had you can start the car by shorting the ignition relay.
with the key on and in park. open bonnet. Remove relay cover next to battery.
Remove Starter relay, second from front.
short the two side connections (not front and back ones) with a piece of wire. The car should start and you should then remove the wire, or the car will continue to turn over. If it starts then its the same prob I had and you need a new BCM. apparently commen prob.
Note. you still need the key in and turned on to start.
