I checked my timing, earthed the ecu, the white mark ended up to the right of the markers (looking from the front of the car) so its retarded, but she is pinging under load, why?
i only run premium.
can it be to far retarded?

ngk?? bp5-11? bp6-11? ect are they std or xr6 plugs zrgb6-11??
with ngk plugs the higher the number the cooler the plug.
a cooler plug can help stop pinging...

Hmm makes me think about my motor (ED VCT-BBM) being VCT head maybe the reccomended plugs for a AU2 VCT might be a go as the standard ED plugs just ping under load and have chased it for ages with a timing light advancing and retarding HMMMM.........
