How hard is it to punch out the cat on an EL falcon , and refit it and all the dribble that comes along with doing it, i also know the massive fine that comes along with doing this.

cause mine is screwed up atm , and i dont have the cash in the mean while to buy a new one , but the sound that i get from the cat atm is pissing me off, so im gonna punch it out for a couple weeks.

is disconnecting it from the system a hard job ? do i need to put gaskets when i reconnect it?

depending on how the cat is installed
if you have a facotry exhasut i think it is part of the rxhasut manifold and needs to be cut off and rewelded on
i got a 2nd hand cat from the wreckers for $30 and got it fitted with flanges on each side so i can unbolt it :) and add my hollow one hehe

usually juts after the cat there is 2 bolts and the front of teh exhaust is disconnected that gasket i would replace it like $3
