i think he knows i wasnt calling him grumpy, i was calling the cat grumpy, thats why the pic had the words on it.

Just read an old thread about 200's with minor mods i.e cam, extractors etc done to a car will not be epa legal and dont want that kind of fine if I can |

I remember an old mate of mine many years ago in Victoria who had a worked 308 Kingswood ute, he use to bypass the vac advance and got done a few times. Think it was huge fines. Ive had my license longer in Vic than NSW, so Im use to random roadworthy checks on the side of the road. I have heard they are doing similar down Penrith lately and that was my concern. I dont drive like a tool ( much) but dont need the fine either. What to do, what to do?

I drive through the Ruff all the time in my vehicles.
None of them are exactly discreet. So far so good. Dont be a d***head and they ignore you.

You were right Troyman, 200 is ok supposedly for my setup with the epa and the tuffparts bloke is a Legend. Thanks for directing me to a bloke who is right on the money, I was desperate to get the $160 one off him but the cats gotten real bad overnight, so I cant wait for the delivery from Melbourne. Getting Mountain Muffler to install the same muffler for me tomorrow for $270, the bloke wanted $400 until I asked how much for an install if I bought it myself... He told me $110, so I said about the one from Tuff and he decided to match it ( $270 installed) and she is getting done tomorrow morning. I really wanted to go with Tuff because his service is Legendary and his prices keep the bastards honest, but she cant wait. Fitting for a Mod to recommend a bloke like Tuff, good on you Thanks mate |

hi mate the 200 cell high flow cat are good for emissions test my car passed no probs .as for getting pulled up in queensland they do operation woblywheels road side inspection but they check rego tires rust but not emissions but they can order u to have one if your car blows smoke,when i took my ef for its emissions test the guy said it was cleaner then some of the imported toyota,s ,,is that cat real or fake what an ugly f**k cat did somone kick it or what
