The stock cats gone on the Ef, I think the Tickford head and extractors were the final straw for the 20 year old cat. I am looking into getting a high flow and cant make sense of the best cell rate for my cars application. I am running an Ef i6 auto with Au injectors, Lukey extractors, Lukey Cat back, Tickford head and cam and a big mouth.
I was told by a bloke at Scotts Auto Springwood about a place in maybe Blacktown called swift exhausts who supposedly did a 100 cell high flow on his Ba ute for $165, anyone know about these guys too?
Lastly, how do I know if my current cat is one thats worth good money at the scrap yards?

I read on the venom thread on here Ceramic's are brittle and can only be a minimum of 400 cells? Is magnaflow still good stuff?

Tempting to do it once and do it right. Are ceramic ones really that bad to warrant spending the extra $50 for an Na tickford Ef? Also would the 400 cell ( I think ceramics are 400) compared to the 200 cell have any difference in power/ economy? The cars on lows but tickford height so not much scrubbing out now mud guards are off

The cats that are worth coin at Normans scrap metal are the ones with AC pressed into the steel case of the cat.
